There's a lot of confusion on why I don't recommend these cleansers. Or any of these. So I'm gonna tell you why. I'm going to jump right in. These CeraVe cleansers are way too stripping. Vanicream, I know the formulation is really simple. It's fragrance-free, but unfortunately, the pH level is too high. I did test it myself with a pH testing device and it was around 6.6. I do recommend these two cleansers down here. They're very simple, but unfortunately, they don't do a good job cleansing. Youth to the People was pH tested as well. It's above six. I actually don't know why Google says it's around five because that's not accurate. It is a little bit too high. The Beplain cleanser has a pH level that is also too high. It's between 5.5 and 6.5. That is why you can have what seems like the same cleanser, but two people can have an entirely different experience. With Round Lab, you also see the same where it's a range that surpasses 5.5. That's also why you hear polarizing opinions because I'm sure there's some people who are getting five, but there's some people who are getting six. And in the cases that we're getting six, it probably does feel stripping. I personally am not willing to use anything outside of the range of our natural skin pH. So I won't use anything that surpasses 5.5. This is my comfort level personally for me because I have really sensitive acne prone skin. Lastly, Soon Jung is 6.5, which we know is definitely out of the range. I do want to give my disclaimer though, that if these products are working well for you, you don't have to feel pressured to stop usage. This video is for the people who are using these cleansers and still struggling with breakouts, irritation, and impaired barriers.
