Fauci just answered every question about COVID, ironically, by refusing to answer a single one. Fauci was under subpoena today before the Senate Homeland Security Committee. He was hauled in over two things: the origins of COVID, and how the government handled the response. Senator Rand Paul, has spent years accusing Fauci of covering up gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab. Can you guess what Fauci’s response? This sums up exactly what public trust in both the federal government and the medical establishment has collapsed in America. Fauci himself previously admitted, under oath, that the 6-foot social distancing rule that shut down schools and businesses for years was quote, “an empiric decision that wasn’t based on data.” Then you have the lab-leak theory. Early on, it was branded a “fringe conspiracy” and people who raised it were mocked. Fauci himself later conceded it wasn’t a conspiracy theory at all. The people who were punished for asking the question were right to ask it.
