rebranding my activewear style LULULEMON I'm upgrading my activewear wardrobe so I'm back at Lululemon because I feel like their stuff is just really flattering on my body type so let's see if anything sticks. This tank top is very flattering on my body type. This is a built-in bra and double lining so you're not going to see through which is great because it's white and the bottom of it is not too tight so it doesn't feel restricting whatsoever. The scoop in the back is so cute. I grabbed these shorts more so to complete the fit of the zip-up jacket that I'll show you next. They're comfortable but for sweatpants I like when the waistband is a little bit thicker. See, this is where it's going to get tricky because this set together is amazing. I love the baby blue shade and this jacket is already one of my favorites. I bought it in black last time I was here. I think I need to get the white one. I feel like colored pieces are definitely fun, but I'm looking for more of staple pieces that I can wear repetitively and people won't notice that I'm wearing the same thing over and over again. And this is definitely the type of item someone will remember me wearing because it's that cute. Tank top number two. I'm loving that Lululemon's white tank tops are double lined. It's really comfortable but I feel like this one's just a little bit too long for me if I wear it with pants. But I do love the Y in the back. Yes. This is the same tank top as the first one I tried on just in the color black. I love that the coverage is high and it doesn't give off too much cleavage. I'm going to go broke. I love the zipper. It's so cute. Okay, first let's talk about the top. I'm loving the crop look because it sits perfectly at the waistline. I love a high neck collar but I also love that you can zip it down three quarters. My only thing is is if I don't get the matching set, I probably wouldn't get this top as is because I don't know what bottoms I would wear with it. Honorable mention for the thumb holes. I just don't know if they're like a need right now. I also don't know if that's a need but it's so cute. Right now I'm shopping solely for the basics, trying to find items that I can wear frequently and not many people will know that I'm wearing the same thing. Initially I was only going to get one item today, but I ended up getting two items that both cost $68 each. So girl math, I ended up having $60 to spend. So I ended up getting two items that both cost $68. Item number one is that very first tank top that I tried on. It was so flattering. I don't have any white tank tops that aren't see-through. It's the Ebb to Street Scoop-Neck Cropped Tank. Says it's for chest size B to C. I'm a chest size D, like a 34, 36 D and I ended up getting a size eight in this tank top. I feel like it's actually friendly for B, C and D. And because I'm focusing on the basics, I got the same item in the black color. Once I put it on, I was just like, yes. You know when the material hits your skin and it just feels so comfortable, you don't want to take it off and you want to shop the rest of the day in it. That's exactly how this felt, which is why I needed to get it in both colors. And I know that I don't need to wear a bra with them and they're not going to be see-through. Also, I posted two hauls now. One from Lululemon the first time and then the second one was from Alo. Even though those items didn't get purchased because they weren't that flattering on my body, doesn't mean that they won't be cute on you. And some of you guys have been asking what those pieces names were. So I'm going to create a post in my shop my with both of the videos and all of the items in the videos linked. So you can find it in the link in my bio. I would like to know what your favorite activewear company is or what your favorite items are at Lululemon because I'm still on the hunt to revamp my activewear wardrobe. So stay tuned for more to come.
