I fell in love with this Spider-Man beanie but they sold out. So instead of waiting for that pre-order, I found this thrifted sweater and I thought, how hard could it be to make one? I started by laying out the sweater and using my beanie pattern to cut out the shapes that I needed for the beanie. And you should end up with two little hot dogs like that. Making the beanie is not the hard part. I make these all the time, but however, my sewing machine did give me trouble, so yeah, fuck that. But I did make the beanie. I wasted no time and I started drawing out the web pattern, but I had to figure out how I was gonna get the webs. I like this leather, so I'm gonna use that and cut strips to make it look like it's ray webbing and glue them on there. After a cool hour or so, I got some webs on there. But now we have to move on to the eyes. So we went with the ultimate eyes, traced them out, got everything set and now I put them on there. You see how the webs look with the eyes? If you're wondering, I just cut and sewed and glued them on there. While I do partially trust the fabric glue, I'm gonna sew it on there just so I can get a little bit more reinforced. And boom, you should end up with something like this. However, the problem we have at hand is this thing is very small because I didn't cut it on the stretch. Leather does not stretch. So this might just turn into a house decor item unless you got a comically small head and you think you could fit it. DM me because I will sell it to you. I won't lie, because I can make another one. You know, I'll catch y'all in the next one. And also, this thing is very small because I didn't cut it on the stretch. Leather does not stretch.
