Today I'm gonna be showing you how to reshape a busted thrifted hat in three easy steps. So this is the hat in question. I thrifted it yesterday for like two buckaroos. It's a nice little Spider-Man 3 inspired hat. I don't know if it's real or not, but it does have that Spider-Man 3 tag. And they don't make those no more. That movie came out like 10, 15 years ago. 20 years ago? Oh god, I'm old. That bad. It just needs a little shaping. To the salon. Actually, we're just in my bathroom and we're gonna turn that water on, grab any shampoo, throw a little bit on there and get washing. Cuz first, the hat is dirty, so we gotta clean it anyway. Next, you're gonna want to grab you at least a pot the size of your head. Next, I'm gonna lay out a towel since I'm doing this in my room. If you're doing it outside, it really doesn't matter. I'm gonna go grab the hat out of the sink. Now I'm just gonna fit it around the pot. And just stretch that drawn out. Sit up with a hat on a pot. Next, you're gonna grab some starch. Some people use hairspray and whatnot, but I got starch. I don't know what I would use it for. While it's still wet, we're gonna starch the hell out of the hat. Now we're just gonna go take this outside and kind of leave it there. That's pretty much what we're doing. You want direct sunlight. So I'll see you tomorrow, buddy.
