this is day two of 30 days to your first remote job, okay? So first things first, how do we actually pick a role before we start? Alright, because people will come to me and say, teach me remote work, teach me, teach me remote work is not a job and it's not a role. It's a company or a client needs to hire you to provide a service and then you get paid. It's not complicated, that's how it works. And this is really, really important, okay? If you are an absolute beginner, focus on roles that can either help businesses get customers or keep their existing customers. Or keep their existing customers because like the number one thing every business needs, right? With AI right now, everybody and their grandmother can create software. But can you help them get customers that will actually pay? And not just get customers, maintain the existing customers so that they keep coming back to pay? Cause like that's the main thing. Now, I will look at roles in the customer and sales ecosystem. Like customer support for example. Of course, the number one recommended, bestest entry level role ever, okay? So I've seen this work for people in my community and myself as well. That's how I really got in and got serious with this tech thing, okay? There's also sales development, of course, customer success, there is media buying if marketing is your thing, okay? Now, before you go and start browsing and looking for a very new tech skill to you, you can look at what you're doing what you're doing currently, because sometimes those skills can be transferred into remote roles. Let's say for example, now you've worked as a receptionist in a hotel. That's a customer facing role, okay? You can move to customer support. You've worked as a real estate agent, for example, that is sales, okay? You can move into sales dev representative. All you need to do is to reposition yourself, alright?
