Oven Baked Ribs 😍 If you don’t have a smoker, don’t worry — you can make tender, smoky, fall-off-the-bone ribs right in your oven! • • Ribs: • 1 rack pork baby back ribs or pork spareribs • Dijon mustard, as needed • 1 tbsp liquid smoke (½ tbsp per side) Dry Rub: • 1 tbsp garlic powder • 1 tbsp onion powder • 1 tbsp ground mustard • 1 tbsp hickory brown sugar • ½ tbsp cayenne pepper • 1 tbsp smoked paprika • ⅛ cup light brown sugar BBQ Sauce: • 18 oz BBQ sauce of choice • ¼ cup water • 1½ tbsp apple cider vinegar • 2 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp brown sugar • 2 tbsp unsalted butter • ½ tsp liquid smoke • 1 tsp smoked paprika Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn’t already been removed. 2. Pat the ribs dry, then coat both sides generously with Dijon mustard. Rub ½ tbsp liquid smoke on each side, then generously season both sides with the dry rub and pat the seasoning in. 3. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and place them on a baking sheet, meat-side up. Bake for 2 hours and 45 minutes. 4. While the ribs bake, make the BBQ sauce. Add the BBQ sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, butter, liquid smoke, and smoked paprika to a saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat until the butter melts and the sauce thickens slightly. 5. Carefully unwrap the ribs and brush generously with the BBQ sauce. 6. Increase the oven temperature to 350°F and bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the sauce becomes sticky and caramelized then enjoy ;) #fyp #oven #ribs #cookout #recipesoftiktok
