Kit and equipment for dog walking

Let's talk kit and equipment when it comes to taking your dog for a walk in general. And the kit you might need. And the kit you might need. Take around for the last one cause it might surprise you. So the first item is a decent lead. And if you can a secondary spare lead. Uh, what you'll usually see is me using a frog clip with cause it clips in the back of his D-ring the back of his harness. However, I will always keep a spare lead on me. Some of you might have had it happen to you, or at least in the videos of it where another dog off lead comes and attacks your dog. Having a spare slip lead and a slip lead gives you control over potentially your dog that's trying to attack your dog. Try and think whether or not have is actually reliable. And don't just those little leads with the little clips on cause soon as it gets muddy or sandy or whatever they tend you can't, you can't open them. So that's why I always say a slip lead or something like that. What's not gonna fail on you. Now the next thing I'll carry on every walk is a treat pouch. And not necessarily filled treats either. With Max's this is where I toy, especially when training something like recall on a cold day. In my pockets, grab his toy, throw it to him. As soon as he comes back, that way he's happy and I'm worn. Something else I like about this one is, this is why I keep my poo bags, cause I hate standing in dog shit. I'm sure absolutely as well. So I pick I suggest that you do as well. And the final one people are so quick to spend hundreds, of pounds on equipment for dogs and neglect the kit equipment you wear yourself. Now, the most important thing to for the what, for what I wear is footwear. And I've reached out to a brand called because I genuinely like their kit and equipment that they stuck. The boots I've been wearing throughout the video are a set of their Delta X. And I can honestly say, and this isn't just sponsored video either, is they're probably of boots I've ever worn. Now, previous to doing what I do now, the military for five years and I had to wear boots everyday in all different environments. You who served, we'll know how shit some of those boots are. Now, what I particularly like about these boots is, they are laced. Brilliant. Right. Which means you can get that tight grip on. And with that zip on the side we like, how annoying is when boots get they get muddy. You tie that knot slightly too tight. With that zip on the side you can unzip and take them off straight away. And throughout this video as well, I've been walking over some pretty steep, wet terrain with it raining, and I've not once fell over, which I usually do, ha ha. Especially coming down hills as well. Now, if you don't have good taking your dog, especially if you're out in a place like this trainers, you're gonna slip, you're gonna fall, you can potentially injure yourself, especially if you have a dog that pulls. So having good footwear can make the difference on whether you enjoy the walk, come back caked in mud, injured and not being able to walk the dog for a fair few days.
