Why it worked
The video taps into nostalgia for the Nintendo 3DS and its streetpass feature, creating a relatable and humorous scenario for festival-goers.
Summary
The creator asks how many streetpasses they will get during Lollapalooza while holding up a decorated Nintendo 3DS. The video then shows the creator at the festival and concludes that they received none.
Structure
- 1Asking about streetpasses at Lollapalooza
- 2Showing a decorated Nintendo 3DS
- 3Attending the festival
- 4Revealing zero streetpasses received
Product placement
Nintendo 3DS: it is used to vlog during Lollapalooza. Removing it would change the video's premise. It merely appears.
