Star Wars anime series is coming out. Star Wars Visions: The Ninth Jedi is set long after the Skywalker saga where Jedi are nothing but a myth at this point, meaning that lightsabers and far between with them basically becoming a lost technology. However, Kara's father, once a Jedi Knight, trains her in the ways of the Force. He also has the ability to make lightsabers that reflect the user's connection to the Force. This series exploring how lightsabers can change color based on the user's own moral alignment and even strength in the Force. And even though we've seen lightsabers change colors through good methods like kyber crystal bleeding and purification, we haven't seen anything quite like this before. So I'm super intrigued on how they're gonna explore it. The anime continues the episodes in the first and third volume of Star Wars Visions with Production I.G., the anime studio making this, continuing the story. Kenji Kamiyama and Shinsuke Tada direct this to execute their full idea on this limited series. The series not only has some interesting ideas, but also some incredible fight choreography and animation as well. But I'm curious if you'll be watching when it comes out.
