This is a super advanced Chinese factory, but there's something really strange about it. It doesn't work like the others. This factory runs completely in the dark. No lights, no heating, no people. These are called dark factories. Massive warehouses full of machines working 24/7 in pitch black. They're being built all over China using advanced robotics and AI to control everything from assembly to packaging. The machines use infrared, lidar and machine vision so they can literally see in the dark. This one by Xiaomi has zero employees and produces a new phone every three seconds. That's 27,000 phones per day. And here's where it gets nuts. China used over half of all the industrial robots in the world last year, more than the US and Japan combined.
