Introducing my dog to our new foster dog for first time Cactus has no idea there's been seven dogs living in our garage for the last week and a half That's Honey, and her and her six puppies were recently saved from a horrible living situation And since she's been a bit protective of them since day one and I didn't want Cactus feeling like his space was getting invaded They've stayed on opposite sides of the house Today, that changes! You want any mama honey We started off on neutral ground No pressure, no forcing it just letting them exist near Once that went well I tried walking them together and gave them treats But the real test was coming up It was successful meeting outside Now we're gonna see how they do in the house Moment of truth..... And to my surprise they hit it off instantly Straight into playing cactus took her out back to chase lizards and they kept the chase going right back into the house It could not have been a more successful first meeting and I am so proud of both of them

Cactus finally met mama Honey!! I was so nervous to do this and still can’t believe how it played out!!
