Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 815 PM MST. * At 744 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Sierra Vista, moving southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Sierra Vista, Hereford, Parker Canyon Lake and Ramsey Canyon Preserve. This includes the following highways... Route 92 between mile markers 324 and 333. Route 83 between mile markers 3 and 6.** The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the affected area until 8:00 PM MST. If you are in the warned area, take action NOW. Move immediately to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows.
