She wasn’t carrying fur she was carrying 2.5 pounds of silent suffering 💔🥺 Part 1 this dog was carrying over 2.5 pounds of matted fur so heavy that she could barely see barely move and every single step was painful what we found underneath broke our hearts when we got the call we thought it was just another neglected grooming case but the moment we saw her in person we realized this was the worst matting we'd ever seen her entire body was trapped inside one solid layer of dirty rock hard fur her eyes were almost covered her tail had become one giant knot and every movement pulled painfully on her skin the family had only recently found her like so instead of judging we focused on giving her the help needed every clip of the blade had to be slow and careful because one wrong move could cut skin hidden beneath years of tangled fur as the first heavy mat started falling to the floor something incredible happened for the first time she lifted her head and her scared expression slowly turned into hope but the hardest part was still waiting
