Data Scientist, a Data Engineer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer. First you start with Harvard CS50 SQL. This is a free university level course that covers relational SQL fundamentals, joins, normalization, indexes, views, transactions, and query optimization. Basically all the you also get hands on problem sets and final database project. If I had to start over, this would begin. Once you finish that, move to freeCodeCamp SQL and Database course. It is a 4 hour course that starts with databases, tables, and keys. Then it gets into creating tables, inserting data, update, and delete, joins, nested queries and triggers. What I really like about this, it's hands on. You follow along and build a complete company database from scratch. CS50 yes, it helps you understand how relational databases work. freeCodeCamp helps you reinforce those concepts by basically a handsome and together they give you the SQL foundation you actually need to get started and answer real business questions with data. And did I mention them are actually completely free. This is part 1 of my SQL series where I share resources and material that you need to learn from intro to advanced SQL.
