Forget the family drama for a moment. Let’s deal with what is actually before the courts. There are separate criminal proceedings involving Jude Okoye and Northside Music Limited following allegations investigated by the EFCC after Peter Okoye’s complaint. One case involves alleged money laundering, including the acquisition of an ₦850 million property in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi. Another involves allegations that more than $1 million and £34,000 in music distribution and publishing royalties were dishonestly converted between 2016 and 2023. And this distinction is important: Paul Okoye is not the defendant in these prosecutions. The charges are against Jude Okoye and Northside Music Limited. These are allegations, not convictions. Jude has pleaded NOT GUILTY and is entitled to defend himself. The fact that the EFCC filed charges means the allegations have moved beyond social-media accusations and into formal criminal proceedings — but it is still the prosecution’s responsibility to prove those charges in court. So in this video, I’m staying away from the domestic and emotional side of the Okoye family dispute. Family issues involving spouses and children should not become entertainment. I’m focusing on the documents, the charges, the money trail alleged by the prosecution, the court proceedings and what we can actually establish as fact. No Team Peter. No Team Paul. No Team Jude.
