🐫Tampa’s first Authentic Egyptian restaurant is now open! No…they don’t serve camel. 🤔 Here’s what I liked, LOVED, and did NOT like at all. Lol 😂 LIKED: Koshari- Egypt’s most loved street food - a hearty mix of rice, lentils, macaroni, chickpeas. and crispy onions, topped with tomato sauce and garlic lemon sauce. Ground beef Feteer (Egyptian Pizza) - really enjoyed the crispiness of the dough. Kind of like a luxury hot pocket. Lamb shank and Baba Ghanouj LOVED: Mombar: MADE FROM SCRATCH. Crispy fried Beef sausage casing stuffed with allavorful mix of rice, herbs. tomatoes. Hawawshi: Crispy Egyptian Pita Bread with seasoned Ground Beef Spicy pickled veggies- I would order a jar if I could and keep them at home. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 DID NOT LIKE…🫠 Just wasn’t my thing. But it is a HUGE staple in their culture. Molokhia- A traditional green soup made from finely chopped jute leaves, cooked with garlic and coriander for a rich, comforting flavor. Served with white rice. 100% worth checking out. 📍11009 N 56th St #tampa #tampabay #egypt
