Cause what I started doing genuinely transcended the game. Tip No. 1 be a human ATM to your friends. 1. be a human ATM. create a fake deadline with actual financial consequences. This means is you're gonna tell your friend your assignment is due 24 hours before the actual deadline, and then you send them $50. And they're only allowed to give it back once you finish by the fake deadline. If you don't, they get to keep it and buy something disrespectful with your money. the essay that you couldn't focus on becomes so freaking interesting cause your friend is browsing for the next Pokemon set with your $50. 2. hold ur notes hostage. Hold your notes hostage. This has worked so well for me, let me tell you. write down one thing that you desperately wanna do instead. That could be watching the next episode. Stalking your ex's LinkedIn, or ordering food. Then physically block it until you finish a specific task. I'll change my streaming password to the answer of a practice problem, put my Door Dash app behind a screen time lock. Or give my phone to someone with instructions not to return it until I can explain the entire chapter without sounding concussed.
