Client stops replying after asking for your price. Don’t send “Hi” Don’t panic. Don’t immediately reduce your price. Here’s what to do 👇 First, understand the psychology. When a client asks “How much?” and you give them your price, their brain immediately starts evaluating. “Can I afford this?” “Is this worth it?” “Should I compare with someone else?” “Do I really need this right now?” “Can I trust this person enough?” So when they suddenly go quiet, their brain may simply be processing the decision. And here’s where many business owners make a mistake. They panic. “Hi” “Hello?” “Have you seen my message?” “Are you still interested?” “Please let me know.” Now you’re no longer following up. You’re chasing. And psychologically, too many desperate follow ups can make the client feel pressured. Let me give you a simple example. Imagine someone walks into your shop and asks: “How much is this?” You tell them ₦50,000. They say nothing and walk away. Would you run after them shouting, “Hello! Why are you leaving? Is my price too high? I can reduce it!” Of course not. You’d give them space. But you’d probably follow up intelligently later. That’s exactly how you should handle a client online. Instead of sending “Hi” after they disappear, give them some breathing room. Then send a follow up that gives them a reason to respond. For example: “Hey, just checking in on this. If you’re still considering it, I can clarify anything you’re unsure about so you can decide what works best for you.” See the difference? You’re not begging. You’re not forcing. You’re reopening the conversation. And if they tell you the price is the issue, don’t immediately slash your price. Ask: “Is it the budget itself, or are you unsure about what you’ll be getting for that investment?” Now you know the REAL problem. Because sometimes the client doesn’t need a cheaper price. They need more clarity. That’s the difference between chasing clients and understanding clients. And this is exactly why I created The Client Code. It teaches you the psychology behind client decisions, what their words REALLY mean, how to handle objections, follow up without looking desperate, communicate value and move conversations forward professionally. If you don’t understand clients, you’ll keep losing opportunities without knowing why. The Client Code is in my bio. Go get it before you make another expensive communication mistake. Save this. You’ll need it when a client goes silent. #ClientCommunication #BusinessTips #ClientAcquisition #Entrepreneurship #TheClientCode
