Sydney's Metro done! Sydney's newest Metro line is nearly done! Come with me and check out the new Dulwich Hill Metro Station. This is the last section of the M1 line, converting the T3 Bankstown line between Sydenham and Bankstown. Some of the work that Sydney Metro's done here has included a new footbridge here connecting you to the L1 Dulwich Hill line, which includes a new lift, making this station wheelchair new accessible. There's also new CCTV cameras, platform screens, new benches, new signs. And one of the biggest things has been level boarding, these screen barriers, so you can just lean along here, nothing will happen to you. And also new gap fillers just along here, which means that there'll be no step between the train and the platform. They've Heritage station, and also the old Wardell Road Concourse, and also the old platform building still here. Thanks to everyone who came to the Metro Open Day.
