I know a lot of you mums in my DMs will resonate with this. And if you don’t … then I’m happy for you that you’ve never had to experience your own nervous system in survival mode each and every day. I’m happy you don’t have to battles with schools, authorities, specialists & your co parents do avocate for your children. It’s exhausting & anyone says it’s easy is lying to themselves … but just a little insight into that side of parenthood. And you will never hear me say ‘I wouldn’t change it for the world’ because I WOULD change it. I would change the access to support, I would change the policy’s and procedures that are put in place that make it so difficult for children and mothers everywhere if I had one tiny ounce of strength left in me .. that would be my next battle #sen #single #parent #singlemum #defaultparent
