Some days the good things are hard to find.

There was a time when one of my biggest challenges was I couldn’t leave Alonzo sitting alone, even for a few seconds. I always had to be beside him, support him, or make sure someone was holding him. Now I can put on his favorite show, let him sit on the sofa, and actually walk away for a little while. 🥹 To some, this might look like nothing special. But for a cerebral palsy mom like me, this is independence. This is progress. This is YEARS of hard work showing up in the simplest moments. 💙 We still have a long way to go, Baba, but look how far you’ve come.
