The days of running away from SARS are officially almost over. So the South African Revenue Service has tabled a new law which will allow South African banks to collaborate with SARS to temporarily freeze payments to and from South African taxpayers. Now, if you don't know anything about SARS, they've been playing around with a bit of AI so that they can improve their revenue collection and it is working amazingly well. Now, of course, consumers are not happy about this, but in the greater scheme of things, such innovations assist to prevent money laundering and so forth. I don't know what your thoughts are on this, I don't want to say anything, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
