Students are now reporting to be using AI to predict their next exam paper. I'm not laughing, but what this student did was that they took all of the question papers from the last five years, they ran through Gemini and they asked Gemini to score these different questions from these past question papers and predict which questions are most likely to come out in the exam. This is perfectly possible because every university has a repository and has passed papers if you engage with past learners, you can even source them that way. And this is something that's very feasible. If there's anyone to blame for this, it's definitely the lecturers because I know lecturers like recycling questions. They just slightly tweak it and this is of course a loophole for students that any student would probably exploit because they want to pass. I've always said it is better for universities to start forcing students to apply the knowledge that they've gained throughout the semester instead of requiring them to remember what they studied. This way we can start creating more intelligent thinkers.
