I lost my job today. I’m so grateful for this community it’s made such a positive impact in my life and because of that I feel like I can be vuberbale and honest with you all. What are your tips and helpful suggestions? #laidoff #workingmom #job #jobloss #fyp I was in the exact same position a year ago. A year ago, with this same company, I was also let go. It took me 8 months before I was able to find another job back with them. Mind you, I didn't work for 8 months. And it was this role that I was currently in, and now I am in the exact same position a year ago that I was in a year ago, with this same company, I was also let go. It took me 8 months before I was able to find another job back with them. Mind you, I didn't work for 8 months. And it was this role that I was currently in. And now, they are letting me go again. I am so pissed off. I am like, if I don't work for this company, where else am I supposed to work in this area? Especially when it comes to the pay. Let's be real, right? In this economy that we're living in, like, pay is an important factor. And I just want you to know, if you've been laid off multiple times, you are not alone. The last time I was laid off, we just bought a house. This time, I'm being laid off and I have a 6-month-old. I was hoping my social media would take off so I could do that full time and be able to be present with her 100%. But it has not taken off yet. You guys have been absolutely amazing, by the way. Um, thank you for getting me as far as I have so far. But I was told to reassure that my job would have been safe, two, three weeks later, I'm being laid off. So yeah, I am really upset. Um, because this is real life. This is real life. People's lives are being played with. Um, and I don't have a choice but to keep pushing, but to keep pushing for my family and my baby. Give me in your purse. Um, if you believe in God, send positive vibes my way. Um, and I'll talk to you guys later.
