Join Big Tex Insider for $12 deal tickets on select Tuesdays and Thursdays 3. Bring canned goods on Wednesday for $7 admission 4. Seniors (60+) get $7 admission on Thursdays. 5. All guests arriving after 5 pm get charged children's prices Food and Drinks 1. Visit the fair on Thrifty Thursday, when participating vendors offer discounted mini and regular-sized signature items. TEXAS 2. Head to the Cheap Eats stands, where all food items are 10 coupons or less. 3. Purchase a collectible cup for discounted refills on drinks all season long. Entertainment 1. Visit the free petting zoo filled with farm animals 2. Watch the Illumination Sensation Show, which performs every night at 7:30 pm 3.
