Buyer CANCELLED the contract day before CLOSING because...

🏡 THE BUYERS SHOWED UP FOR THEIR FINAL WALKTHROUGH… AND COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAW 😳 They opened the front door expecting one last quick walkthrough before closing and getting their keys. 🔑 Instead, they walked into a nightmare. 🛋️ Furniture was still sitting in the living room. 📦 Boxes were everywhere. 🛠️ The garage was packed with tools and paint cans. 🧺 Laundry was still inside the machines. 🏊 Even the pool looked like it had been neglected. And it wasn’t just one room or one forgotten corner. The entire property looked like the sellers weren’t ready to leave. 😬 The agreement required the home to be vacant and broom-swept clean at closing. This was neither. And here’s what made the situation even worse… ⏰ Closing was the NEXT DAY. The movers were booked. Utilities had been transferred. The buyers were ready to move in. Mentally, the home was already theirs. Everything was documented. 📸 Photos were taken of every room and a detailed list of the issues was prepared. ⚖️ The buyer’s lawyer contacted the other side and gave them a deadline to correct the situation. Then… silence. 📵 No returned calls. No explanation. Hours passed.
