FRENCH ONION BAKED CHICKEN 🧅🍗 Creamy, cheesy, crispy and SO easy! This is one of those simple dinners the whole family will love. 🙌🏼 Comment “ONION” and I’ll send you the recipe! 🧅 INGREDIENTS * 4 chicken breasts, sliced into thinner cutlets or pounded to an even thickness * 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed French onion soup * 1 cup French onion dip * 1–1½ cups seasoned croutons, crushed * 8 slices provolone cheese * ½ tsp garlic powder * Salt & pepper, to taste INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 400°F. If using thick chicken breasts, slice them in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets or pound them to an even thickness. This helps the chicken cook more evenly and quickly. Pour the French onion soup evenly into the bottom of a baking dish. Season the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then arrange it in the baking dish. Spread the French onion dip evenly over the chicken. Crush the croutons into coarse crumbs and sprinkle them over the top, then layer on the provolone cheese. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden and the chicken reaches 165°F internally. Save this one for an easy weeknight dinner! 🤍
