Why it worked

The video leverages the popular 'try-on haul' format, showcasing trendy fashion items from a well-known brand. The use of on-screen text to identify each item and the clear visual presentation of the outfits likely resonated with viewers interested in fashion and shopping.

Summary

The creator showcases several outfits from Hollister, trying on a pink and brown off-the-shoulder top with ultra-low rise barrel jeans, a baby pink cami with the same jeans, and off-white capris with the cami. The video is a try-on haul of clothing items from the brand.

Product placement

Hollister: (a) it ACTS - the video is a try-on haul from this store, showing items purchased there. Removing it would change the context of the video. (b) it merely APPEARS - the store name is displayed as on-screen text. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
