Why it worked

This video likely worked due to its ASMR qualities and the satisfying visual of suds being created and manipulated, appealing to a niche audience interested in sensory content. The unexpected use of bar soap for cleaning a sponge also adds a quirky, relatable element.

Summary

The video shows a person placing a black sponge and three bars of Dove Gentle Exfoliating soap into a sink. They then run water over the sponge and soap, creating suds, and proceed to wash the sponge with the soap. The Dawn dish spray is visible in the background but not actively used in the main action.

Structure

1Place sponge and soap in sink
2Run water to create suds
3Wash sponge with soap
4Rinse sponge
