Is your avocado oil actually fake? 🥑👀 Have you heard about the UC Davis study going around? The findings are pretty wild. Researchers found that 89% of the avocado oil labeled foods tested contained other oils. Honestly, I feel a little bamboozled. I’ve paid a premium for so many of these “better” products, only to learn that the oil inside may not be what the label claims. Interestingly, olive oil products performed much better, with 19 of the 20 samples passing authenticity testing. Products that passed both lots tested: ✅ Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil Potato Chips
✅ Trader Joe’s Kettle Cooked Olive Oil Potato Chips
✅ Torres Extra Virgin Olive Oil Potato Chips
✅ Bella Sun Luci Sonoma Vinaigrette
✅ Bragg Organic Vinaigrette Dressing
✅ California Olive Ranch Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
✅ Graza “Fancy” Mayo
✅ Graza “Original” Mayo
✅ Grove AvoYeah! Garlic Aioli
✅ Grove AvoYeah! Mayo Sauce These findings only apply to the specific products and lots tested, since suppliers and formulations can change. As always, stay informed and read beyond the marketing. I truly hope these brands take this seriously and make changes within their supply chains. 🛒⚠️
