He survived alone in the woods for an entire month but when they finally found him his fur was hiding how bad things had become today we met a scared stray dog from a shelter people in a nearby village had been seeing him alone in the woods for almost a month he was underweight terrified and his coat was severely matted the mats were so tight that they were tangled from his body all the way to his tail we had to work slowly because we didn't know how he would react surprisingly he wasn't aggressive he just stood there quietly almost as if he had forgotten what it felt like to be touched as we started removing we realized just how much they were restricting his movement piece by piece we began freeing his body but this was only half of the groom and the hardest part was still waiting because after removing all that fur we would finally see his skin and he had never experienced a bath like this before
