Like I have bills to pay #work #serviceindustry #serving #highschool Okay, you can make so much money doing serving jobs and it could be a great job to have as a young adult. But what I can't get behind is teenagers being there. I'm sorry, but I don't want to work with a teenager. Who would you rather have as your coworker? A 17-year-old spoiled brat that lives with their parents and has availability of four hours a week, 1.5 days a week, or a 26-year-old woman who if she's not showing up to work, her kids are not being fed, the lights are gonna be shut off, the car's gonna be repossessed. Like I want to work with an adult that has to work or their bills are not getting paid. They've just have a better work ethic, they have a better attitude, they're going to pick up shifts, they're going to be more helpful. They just have a better understanding. Like I've had several jobs now, I've wondered like, why the hell are we hiring teenagers with no availability, no work ethic?
