This is my teaching salary progression as a high school science teacher. Keep in mind I'm not including any of my coaching stipends here. So, this is purely teaching salary progression. Starting off, year number one, I only had my bachelors at the time, that was $32,000 a year. And then a year and a half into teaching, I got my masters, which bumped me up to $39,000 a year. Which having masters only making $39, barely $40,000 a year was not going to cut it. So I actually hopped from physical education to science where I'm currently still teaching science. But I went to a new school where I was paying $60,000 a year. So $20,000 pay increase. I did not like that school, but I made some lifelong friends, so it was a good experience. But then I hopped to the school that I'm currently at right now, and that bumped me up to $62,000 a year. The very next year, year number five, I made $65.5,000 a year. But brings me to right now, year six, I am at $67.5,000 a year, getting a steady 2 to 3% increase, which is right on par with what I want to make. But I am also coaching the sports that I love coaching and teaching the classes that I love teaching. So there is a trade-off there, but anyways, for those
