Why it worked

The video leverages a common skincare debate (French vs. Korean sunscreen) and uses a direct visual comparison to engage viewers interested in skincare and K-beauty trends.

Summary

The video compares French sunscreen with Korean sunscreen by applying each to opposite sides of the face. The creator shows the texture and finish of both sunscreens as they are blended in.

Structure

1Apply French sunscreen to one side of the face
2Apply Korean sunscreen to the other side of the face
3Blend in both sunscreens
4Show the final look of both sides of the face

Product placement

Biotherm sunscreen (ACTS - applied to face, its texture and finish are compared; removing it would change the video's comparison) VS Korean sunscreen (ACTS - applied to face, its texture and finish are compared; removing it would change the video's comparison)
