These are the things that I can't wait to do in Rome once I can walk again. This is a very curated list of things that I've been seeing around on social media lately. That as a local, I would love to go and check out here. So if you're coming to Rome soon and you're looking for some activities that are not as mainstream as the other touristy hot spots in the city, you might actually like my list. Unfortunately, as I am still recovering from that happened in June that has literally ruined my entire summer. I'm not able to go and do any of these things. However, writing them down has made me feel a little bit more optimistic. And whenever I'm back on my feet, I'm gonna do all of these things. So let's get into it. Number one on my list is L'Oratorio in Trastevere. I really wanna go to this bar. It's so beautiful, so aesthetically pleasing. The only thing is I don't know how long they're gonna stay open. So I hope they're open after August throughout September, maybe even October, because I really wanna go to this bar. Number two is Festival des Cabanes in Villa Medici. I love Villa Medici, it's like the coolest place ever. And they're always having new exhibitions going on. And this is running until the end of September. So hopefully I can go and see it. Next is Mary, this is a micro bar that just opened up in Monti. It has a bunch of these specialty pastries that you see in slow and Luna. I love Monti, I love pastries. I really wanna go and just try everything on their menu. Next one is a bit particular, but I think I'm gonna pronounce it wrong, but it's called the Domus Aurea. It's this crazy complex that was built by Emperor Nero. And it's really close to the Colosseum, but a lot of people miss it. And this isn't going anywhere. So I know I have time to visit this one. Next one is Settimo, panoramic flavors of Rome. They've invited me previously to go have a drink at their rooftop, but I've had to decline because of the accident. So when I can, I actually want to go to the rooftop and experience their aperitivo because the views look so freaking cool. And you know that I love a rooftop. And the last thing that I can't wait to do is I really wanna go to the Baths of Caracalla. This also has been on my list for a really long time. Again, I feel like this is such a cool Roman monument that a lot of people miss. The place is absolutely ginormous and it just looks so magical. So that is my list of things I cannot wait to do in Rome once I can walk. Hopefully, this gave you some inspiration of things that you can add to your own Rome itinerary if you're coming to Rome soon. And I'll see you out there soon enough.
