Plot twist, he's not even the dad

What's better than one sausage? Three sausages, but mini. This delicious little variety pack is Custard Cream and Fig Roll. No points for guessing who's who. Barnaby has been styling for a few years now, and it was time for the next generation to get a taste of the salon. Victoria started to lather them up in a hypoallergenic shampoo and Custard Cream was behaving beautifully. Fig Roll was proving to be less enthusiastic about the bath, the more rambunctious at home. After their first shampoo, it was time for a quick rinse. Shampoo No. 2 included a very relaxing head massage. By the time of the second rinse, both of them were feeling very much more calm. After a quick shake, it was check in from Uncle Barnaby to make sure that the biscuits were behaving themselves. With the dough, these biscuits were back to the table for baking. Nobody likes a soggy biscuit, but neither of them seem to be very enthusiastic about drying. Fig Roll was proving to be a bit more spicy, biscuit counterpart. Are fig rolls spiced? I can't eat gluten, taste like. Custard Cream was calmer, but still didn't look that convinced by drying. His sister repeatedly stepping on him probably didn't help. Time to bring out the big guns. Fig Roll made a last ditch liquid protest, but mercifully didn't roll in it. It's amazing the difference that having an uncle that enjoys grooming can make. Barnaby wasn't a fan of the biscuits when they first arrived, and truly taken these little crumbs under his wing. With the magical influence of Barnaby, everyone was much calmer. It wasn't long before the whole pack was brushed out and dry. Custard Cream was a perfect boy for his paw pad trim. And then Victoria could clip off those tiny claws. Fig Roll had much hairier paw pads, but Custard wasn't done being the centre of attention. Second poo, by the way. Was nearly the same size as him. After a clean up, it was back to those fluffy paw pads and take down those sharp nails. The fluffy bits were trimmed to neat them up. And then Custard Cream got a little tidy up too. Family reunion or a new album cover? These little sweet treats had brightened everyone's day, but unfortunately it was time for this little blended family to get back to their biscuity adventures.
