Alfie decided that he desperately needed that piece of hair this poodle look alike is Alfie the Australian labradoodle and he was at Doggy Styling for his first taste of the salon after showing off an impressive repertoire of tricks this cuddle bug was ready for his first sniff of the bath so far Alfie was proving to be a very confident little chap and he was completely unfazed when Victoria broke out the loofah and started to scrub him he looked a little surprised when he realized this meant getting wet but fortunately for everyone involved he was quickly over the initial shock Victoria massaged the shampoo into his face and paws and after a shake off it was time for a rinse Alfie's owners have done a fantastic job of getting Alfie used to all sorts of new experiences so he had been happy so far to just sit back and relax especially if it involved a cuddle back on the table Alfie didn't look thrilled to be out of Victoria's arms but he was completely unfazed by the dryer he would still like a cuddle however which can be tricky when you're still damp underneath fortunately Alfie didn't mind a cuddle standing up as well although that does put Victoria's ears at risk fortunately it didn't take long to dry when he's covered in puppy fluff even if he is the size of a cocker spaniel all this standing around was tiring work but unfortunately there wasn't time for a nap when there was brushing to do with a little bit of brushing and a stand dryer this tousled coat was changing into a fluff ball now fully dry it was time to trim those tiny paw pads well tiny for Alfie positively enormous if he was a Chihuahua the final step was trimming around those newly cleared paws and then revealing those sparkling eyes Alfie had been an absolute gent for his first groom and everyone on the team couldn't wait for his next visit
