Few days ago I said that I treated my glow up last year like prepping for a wedding even though I wasn't having one. And I want to tell you the things that I did that actually made a big difference. But I'll start with beauty because I could talk about all the areas for hours and hours. The biggest theme overall is that I stuck with consistency and I did not try to change everything overnight. And I did not try to find quick fixes. I just made a commitment that I was going to be super consistent and trying to look my best every single day. Okay, skincare. I stopped buying and trying random products that people were suggesting. I found what worked for my skin and I stuck with it morning and night. I posted my skincare routine the other day and everything's linked but for me that is cleansing, exfoliating, every other night, retinol, SPF, and a ton of hydration. I promise consistency changed my skin then any single product ever could. On to the hair. Today's like not a great day to talk about hair because it's looking a mess. But Monoxidil. Okay. Changed my life. I do it every single night on my scalp and on my eyebrows. I've never seen so much growth in my eyebrows and in my hair. I tried a lot. I've tried a lot of lash serums. I wasn't loyal to one in particular. I've tried a lot. But I use one every single day. I do get lash lifts and tints which is life-changing. But my lashes grew a ton. Same philosophy with makeup as the skincare. I stopped buying stuff just because people were posting it or just because there's a new launch. I found the stuff that I loved on my skin that worked and I stuck with it. I like a lighter look. I'm not good at doing eyeshadow. I don't like the way eyeliner looks on me. So I kept it pretty basic. Found the things I loved and that was it. Okay, onto the most controversial maybe, procedures. And before anyone comes into this, this is expensive. Yeah, I know. I never claimed to be very financially sound with my choices. Okay. Every quarter I did some sort of a laser. My concerns were redness and just overall skin tone. And then I also did micro-needling once a quarter. I did a couple chemical peels. This all helps so much with the long-term appearance of your skin. I also do Botox. I do forehead, 11s, sometimes crows feet like once a year. I was grinding my teeth really bad, so I got masseter which helped slim my face, which is always a plus. And if you don't do Botox or don't want to do Botox, I can't stress enough how much I don't care. Okay. But the biggest hitters with beauty. Again, diet, nutrition, exercise, mindset routines. All of those things are more important than the beauty stuff. So obviously I can talk about those. But the biggest thing is just consistency. I stuck to doing what I knew worked, did it every day. That's how you make your glow up permanent. Okay. Onto the most controversial maybe, procedures. And before anyone comes into this, this is expensive. Yeah, I know.
