I stopped recognizing my own face somewhere around 56. Not all at once. Just slowly, until one morning I looked up and thought, when did that happen. Here is what I actually changed to go from this to this at 58. 1. I stopped buying a new serum every time the last one let me down. Your skin is built to keep things out. That is literally its job. So most of what I pressed in at night just sat on top and dried off by morning. That was never my genetics and it was never me doing it wrong. 2. Mesotherapy. This is the one that actually changed my texture and softened the lines around my mouth, and it made everything else I already owned finally do something. Five minutes, twice a month, at my own bathroom sink. No $400 clinic, no appointment, no downtime. I swear by it. 3. I quit the ten-step routine. Three products I actually finish beats twelve I resent. 4. Sunscreen every day, including the grey ones. Boring. Non-negotiable. 5. Sleep and water. I know you have heard it. They stopped being optional the second menopause showed up. I am not 25 and I am not trying to be. I just look like myself again.
