🔥 BEST PIZZA I’VE TRIED IN 2026 — BAKERSFIELD & KERN COUNTY EDITION 🍕 Taking it back to the Best of Bakersfield series! These are my personal picks for the best pizza I’ve tried in 2026 .... in no particular order. 👇 🍕 Zeppo’s Pizza 📍 9510 Hageman Rd A, Bakersfield, CA 93312 A spot bringing a New York-style crust with an Italian influence. Zeppo’s opened in 2019, but the team says their combined pizza-industry experience goes back more than 65 years. Their NY-style crust is definitely part of what makes them stand out. 🍕 Parlour KP 📍 906 11th Ave, Delano, CA 93215 Technically outside Bakersfield, but too good to leave off the list. Parlour specializes in New York-style pizza, with big 18-inch pies, thin/crispy crust and creative combinations like Hot Pepperoni with Calabrian chili + hot honey and the Mexican Standoff with longaniza, serrano and queso fresco. 🍕 Amigo’s Pizza 📍 1601 Panama Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93307 This one brings something different to the table with loaded pizzas and Indian-inspired flavors like paneer, saag, chili chicken and chicken tikka. The business has been operating in Bakersfield since at least 2009, making it a longtime local pizza spot. 🍕 Pizza Guys 📍 5601 California Ave 500, Bakersfield, CA 93309 A more modern, takeout-focused option with fresh dough made daily, customizable pies and plenty of specialty combinations. The Bakersfield location opened in 2022 under local ownership. 🍕 Jerry’s Pizza & Pub 📍 1817 Chester Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93301 A true Bakersfield institution. Jerry’s opened downtown in 1992 and has become just as known for its live music scene as its pizza. Today, the menu also leans into Bakersfield flavors with creative pies like chile verde and birria. ⭐ HONORABLE MENTION: Zepeda’s Stone Fire Pizza A wood-fired option that deserves a shoutout for its charred, smoky crust and single-pizza format. Definitely one to keep on the radar if you love that wood-fired style. And just to be clear… THIS IS MY LIST based on the pizzas I personally tried in 2026. No rankings. No chains vs. locals debate.
