OK y’all… we went back for BJ’s redemption! 😂 Y’all said we ordered the wrong thing last time, with comments like, “Who goes to BJ’s for a burger?” So we went back and ordered what y’all said we SHOULD have ordered. 👀 I said BJ’s was carried by the Pizookie. Y’all said the wings and pizza were the go-to. So we went back to see what the hype was about. Here’s my honest opinion: 🥑 Nachos: Definitely not my favorite. The cheese tasted like Kraft cheese that had been melted, and the tri-tip didn’t really bring much to the table in flavor or tenderness. 🔥 Wings: NOW THESE were good. Really good. The Hot Honey and BBQ wings were cooked perfectly, and both sauces had a great sweet-and-savory flavor. 🍝 Alfredo Ziti: Another shocker! The flavor was actually really good, but the noodles were way overcooked. 🍕 Pizza: It was alright. Good flavor, but honestly, not something I’d dedicate a trip to BJ’s for. Just not my personal favorite. 🍪 Pizookie: Like I said before… the Pizookie carried the show! 😂 Super sweet, but definitely worth getting. And I have to give a BIG shoutout to our waitress! 🙌🏾 She was absolutely awesome. Her customer service was on point, she was friendly, attentive, and made the experience that much better. Sometimes great service can really make a difference, and she definitely delivered! So did BJ’s redeem itself? The wings, Pizookie, and great service definitely helped… but I’m still not convinced BJ’s is a must-go spot for me. #Bakersfield #Foodie #foodreview #bjsrestaurant #foodtiktok
