30 days of summer outfits as someone that cares about fabric composition. Of course, I had to pull out the viral pants from Gap and let me be the first to tell you that they are viral for 100% cotton, they're extremely comfortable, very, very lightweight and breathable for the summer. And the brown color specifically is so rich, so it adds some dimension without being as boring as black. Although we do love her. One of the most superior color combos is brown with navy. So of course I paired it with this top. It's from J. Crew and I am obsessed with this tiny little V-neck detail. I believe this shirt is around 98% cotton, 2% elastane, but it is extremely breathable, perfect for this slow transition into summer into fall. These shoes are a dupe for the ancient Greek sandal version that go for around $200. I've talked about this before, but these are not natural fibers, but neither is the original. And my philosophy is that your closet explicitly shouldn't be natural fibers for a couple different reasons. One, it's more expensive to build up to a full natural fiber wardrobe. Two, functionality. I don't want to be wearing leather flip-flops to the beach and three aesthetic. Adidas track pants, for example, I have a pair and they wear them all the time. They are not natural fibers. No, they are 100% nylon. But there's no way to achieve that look and that aesthetic with a natural fiber option. Obviously, to each their own, that's just my personal philosophy. Shoes are, these are primarily plastic. That's okay with that. And the reason I got these instead of the ancient Greek sandal version is because essentially the material is the same. So when they're both the same material, there's no reason to spend that much more if the materials are inherently not worth that price. Sunnies are from Quinn and my bag is from Studios.
