Why it worked

The video taps into the popular 'blind box' unboxing trend and the 'weight checking' hack for collecting specific items. The creator's relatable fear of spiders contrasted with finding the toy cute also adds an engaging element.

Summary

The creator uses a digital scale to weigh blind boxes of ZURU My Mini Pets toys, aiming to find a specific weight that corresponds to a jumping spider. After successfully identifying and unboxing the spider, they assemble a small habitat for it, naming it Newton.

Structure

1Searching for the jumping spider using a scale
2Weighing blind boxes to find the correct weight
