Pay attention to the man who doesn't need a crowd. Sometimes it's the opposite. Because a man who doesn't need an audience usually doesn't need validation. He's not making decisions based on what his friends are gonna think. He's not trying to impress everybody. He's not posting for approval. He's comfortable standing alone. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about a man who can't keep relationships. That's different. I'm talking about a man who's so secure in who that he's okay with walking away from people who don't align with his values. We've normalized popularity, but popularity and character are not the same thing. Some people have 50 friends cause they can't say no. Some people have two friends, they protect their peace. Pay attention, the loudest people in the room usually need the most attention. The strongest people I've met don't. They move in silence. They don't need applause to stay disciplined. They don't need a group chat to make a decision. They do what's right. A man who can stand alone can usually stand on his convictions. Because if you need a crowd to become who you're supposed to be, you'll need that same crowd to keep you there.
