Neck touching is one of those small body language cues that can reveal more than people realise. The neck is a vulnerable area, so touching, rubbing or lightly exposing it can appear when someone feels nervous, self-conscious or emotionally activated. The movement can also be self-soothing, a way of regulating that extra nervous energy when an interaction suddenly feels more important. Around someone they’re attracted to, that nervousness can mix with excitement. You may see more neck touching, a slight head tilt that exposes the neck, or movements that seem to invite greater closeness. Of course, one gesture never proves attraction on its own, so look for clusters: sustained eye contact, warmer expressions, closer proximity and continued engagement. Attraction often leaks through the little things, closeness, comfort and connection. #bodylanguage #touches #attraction
