Why it worked
The video uses a relatable and humorous premise of pranking a parent, combined with the visual of enjoying a coffee, to create engaging content. The use of a local business adds an element of authenticity.
Summary
A person orders a coffee from a barista at Gentile Gelateria. The person then drinks the coffee and appears to enjoy it, despite the on-screen text suggesting this is part of a daily prank on their mother.
Structure
- 1Ordering coffee at Gentile Gelateria
- 2Receiving the coffee
- 3Drinking the coffee
- 4Reacting to the coffee
Product placement
Gentile Gelateria: APPEARS - a logo on the apron and on the screen of the tablet. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
