FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AS A HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

Yay!!! First day!! I had the best day ever 🥹💗👩🏼‍🏫✨ It's the first day of school as a high school math teacher. Guys, I got to school in an hour and 45 minutes early. I just am excited. But let's go into my classroom and we'll get our days started. I grabbed my bag. I have Starbursts. These are for our activity today. And then I have two TAs and they're my youth group girls. I'm so close with them. They are literally like my little sisters. I'm so excited that they're my TAs this year. And so I got them and I got a Pop Rocks and a candy because she doesn't like a Lani, it makes her jittery. Oh, I brought my Canon today. Hopefully I can get a first day of school picture. I have all my vitamins for the day. Also, you guys, this box is so fun. Clean Simple sent me a whole bunch of goodies to put out in my staff room. Green Apple Protein Soda and Cherry Limeade. I'm gonna whip out our very first to-do list of the school year and write the to-do list of things that I want to get done over the span of today and tomorrow. Okay, I feel like I got a pretty good to-do list going. Now I'm gonna do a class set of geometry syllabuses. I'm not gonna staple all of them though. I do have two TAs and I'm gonna have them staple the rest of these. Also, I get asked sometimes like, what is a TA? They are junior or senior students that choose to use their elective period to be in a teacher's classroom and like help out. I'm going to make a card for my TAs. I think I made enough cards. Now I'm just gonna hope that it's enough. You guys, I'm so excited. I just had the best day of my life. I love my job. I'm so happy. It is 3 o'clock. It is after school. I literally just had the best day. I love my job. I'm so happy. I'm basically all set up. I'm so excited. I think I'm gonna print out some labels for the bins that I haven't labeled yet. That will actually probably be a good task for my TAs to like laminate and cut out. So, let's do that. Okay, I have some labeling to do. I'm going to write the bell schedule today because it is like a shortened day for the first day. So it's kind of random. This pen is broken. Much better. Bell schedule. P1 8:30-9:11, P2 9:19-10:00, P3 10:08-10:49, P4 10:57-11:38, Lunch 11:38-12:08, P5 12:16-12:57, P6 1:05-1:46. And that is our strange bell schedule today. All right, I am basically all set up.
