My custom lab diamond tennis bracelet from China 💎

I recently had a lab diamond tennis bracelet custom made with an overseas vendor and today, we're going to talk about my experience. I've been wearing this tennis bracelet now for an entire month and I wanted to do so before talking about it because I wanted to rule out any glaring quality issues. But so far, so good. I had this tennis bracelet custom made with LGG Jewelry. This was my second time working with them. The first was on this pendant. Let's get into the specs and then I'll go through the entire process. Okay, so this is my tennis bracelet up close. It is 3 millimeter round diamonds with 4x6 millimeter emerald cut diamonds and 14 karat yellow gold. It is just under 7 carats of diamonds. And I'm going to be honest, I slipped my mind as I have no intentions of reselling it. I forgot to ask for an IGI certification on this piece. So, just keep that in mind. And I know the next question is going to be pricing. I want to preface this by saying the pricing of all these pieces is very specific to the specs that you want. So if you have a larger wrist, smaller wrist, if you want more gold, less gold, it can change completely. I don't want to disappoint anyone if I share a quote and the number is drastically different because the cost of gold has gone up or down or you know, whatever it may be. That being said, I'm going to share the quote that I received on May 29th of an original bracelet design that was similar to this. You'll hear about my modifications later. I modified it to make it my own. And that quote was $1649 for 10k starting price for a 6.5 inch bracelet length. Since I haven't spoken about the process for a tennis bracelet in my entire vendor series, I thought I would also include it in this video. So let's just jump right into it. I have my notes here as always. So on May 29th, while I was getting this pendant done, I actually reached out to Romy for a quote. I had seen LGG post a very similar tennis bracelet about a year ago and I absolutely loved the design. So I reached out and I received the quote the same day. But I had told Romy that I was really thinking about my options at the moment. I thought about this bracelet along with other tennis bracelets with other vendors for about 18 days. And I just couldn't get this design out of my head. So I ended up reaching back out to Romy on June 16th. When I reached out to Romy that day, I was inquiring about how much it would cost to modify the design based off of what I was cooking up in my brain. I wanted less rounds on the bracelet and more emerald cut diamonds. On the same day, we kind of discussed back and forth if I could pay a CAD fee. So Romy just invoiced me $50 for the CAD fee, which would then be applied to the balance. This was the first time in my entire vendor experience that I didn't pay 50% of the project upfront to start the process. I believe other vendors offer this too. So if you're someone who wants to see the CAD first before fully committing to the project, it took two days to receive my first CAD. So I got that on June 18th. And we really started discussing gold weight a lot more. It's not that the original bracelet wasn't hefty enough for me, but I think I just wanted a little bit of a thicker bezel. I provided my thoughts and what I was kind of leaning towards and it took three days to receive a second CAD, which was for the heavier weight design. I was trying to be as intentional as possible with this design and this purchase. So I asked all the questions you could think of and they were so patient with me. So I paid 50% of the project minus the $50 for the CAD fee to start the project. I was quoted around 3 to 4 weeks for the completion. But 15 days later, I received pre-shipment videos and pictures which I thought was incredibly fast. At this stage, I also asked to confirm the post-polishing gold weight because I had paid an additional fee for this bracelet. I sent them a picture of it on the scale, which matched exactly what we had discussed. My bracelet was then shipped the following day and I received it in six days on July 16th. In total, it took 30 days from when I went back to Romy confirming that I wanted to proceed with this design and with my modifications. So the process was a lot faster than what I thought and what was quoted. Since we're talking about timeline, I feel like I have to mention this here. My first video talking about my LGG jewelry experience with my pendant ended up getting a lot more traction than I thought and they had no idea this video was being posted. It was completely un-sponsored. Same with this video. I have since chatted with Romy and she was actually really grateful that I shared public information to other people to start their jewelry journey. I know a lot of people say that tennis bracelets are a little tricky with overseas vendors or just in general, because there's a lot of things that can go wrong with them.
