Why was Da Hood so popular with the alt community?

I've always wondered this. But what made the hood such an attractive game for the alternative community? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we go back to prime COVID years, from like 2020 to 2022, the game was mainly filled with alternative people, if I'm not wrong, right? Like, communities on there were alternative, especially tell because of their avatar, alternative fashion look. And that's what I always question, right? Like, what did the hood do to attract so many alternative people? Did the game have specific perks? Did people just their outfit? Was there like features in the game tailor towards the community? Was there already a proper thing in the alternative community from the I definitely do not know. And I guess there was a feature where you could buy that boombox where you could blast a bunch of music, people would always play Jane or haunted mountain. One that's pretty cool about it. But if you community back during COVID times and was playing the hood, Da Hood, please let me know, made the game so attractive?
